Random Rant - 3

Unhappy - Meaning not happy. That’s how I feel in this hostel more often than not. And not all of it is due to it’s location, which is Cuttack, or even the fact that I study in the most mind-fucking college ever. Shocking isn’t it? Well.. what can I say. Life really is not a wish granting factory. And no amount of optimism can change that fact. Some thing or the other is just going to suck. That, unfortunately, is the reality. Reminds me of that dialogue from ZNMD, if your life sucks from a certain aspect, toh jee rahe ho tum! No, there was no such saying in ZNMD. It just reminded me somehow. Don’t know why. Bottom line, we are living! Kudos to us!!

Anyhow, you might be thinking that I couldn’t be more elusive in approaching the subject in question. That might be a bit intentional! See the thing is I feel like if I do, I might instill the so-far ambiguous notion in my head and in turn might start interpreting the situation as reality, making myself further unhappy! Not a good idea. Let’s just say that your favourite character who you look up to and identify with a lot does something that u suddenly can’t relate to, or may be a character who seem to be pretty stoic in his/her decisions and doesn’t go back on his/her words suddenly does just that and u are left all clueless and thinking what-and-how-the-hell-did-that-just-happen? Let’s say it is something like that!

Which brings me to my conclusion :

Temperament of human mind is highly fluid in nature!

Human nature can conform and fit into any form and shape as is desired or sought. It can adapt to or adopt incredible forms that can leave you stranded with little interest for life! It is highly volatile and least bit stable. Just when you think that you have uncovered all the mysteries of a fellow human, he/she will ‘surprise’ you by showing a side of their psyche that till then was dormant; and you are left there questioning your own existence for not knowing that side of that person. Good news is, it’s not your fault! That is just human nature! It WILL take the form of the vessel that it is essentially put into. No one can stop that. In fact, and here is the kicker (!), if you dig deep inside yourself, you will know that it is applicable for you too! Because like it or not, my friend, you too are a human! You are fucking homo sapiens not homo ultimatums!

Yeah I did my research and I came up with this term! And with that note I am going to finish my rant!

Footnote (and a rather unnecessary note) – I feel better already!
