Spot the Dickhead!

Enough is enough.

Have you said/read/heard this before? Great. What happened next? Discussed about what you were going to do in that position, resolved back to your own cocoon and carried on with your life? Yeah, sounds like yesterday-me!

So what has changed between yesterday and today? 

I will come to that but let's try to understand a few things first.

You might think there are 3 broad biological classifications of people. a) Women b) Men c) Transgenders. WRONG!

There are just two.

a) Human beings - that's us. 

b) Dickheads - quite self explanatory (literally and metaphorically), these are the human-being-lookalikes who are used to flashing their dicks before their faces. (Get acquainted with this word for i am going to use it a lot.)

Now, i don't know what kind of evolution created these beings but these are their general characteristics:-

1. They do not carry the DNA for some emotional traits such as shame and remorse. It's not their fault or anything, it's just evolution. So if you see dickheads 'masturbating' in public, or eve-teasing you or trying to grab you maliciously, don't hold it against them. It's in their nature. They can not help it. 

2. They are go-getters when it comes to their 'needs'. So if you, god forbid, dare to get out of your house, you Will be harassed. Then don't go about complaining. Clearly you asked for it!

3. They do not believe in Privacy and personal space. Again DNA, something they do not have a hand on. So if you think you will remain indoors and be invisible, you couldn't be more wrong! They are designed to peak into your windows and ventilators to check you out.

4. They have a twisted sense of entertainment(Or so it would seem for human beings). They love watching you take a shower. While it might sound ridiculous at first, you'll get used to it! So if you catch a dickhead staring at you through the ventilator (cause you have already shut the window so you can take a shower at peace), do not try to cover yourself up and try to scream at 'it'/them. You are stripping them off the only mode of entertainment that they have! Please, don't be so heartless to these poor beasts.

5. They lack the empathy to fathom women as living beings. Their brain can only interpret human beings with breasts as 'properties'. (Like iPhones for us let's say. But then again, we do pay for these things, dickheads don't understand that concept either.) So if you are talking to a 'person' while it only looks at your boobs, you know its a dickhead. 

Oh! And they do not have a gender. Hence 'it'.

There are a loads of other characteristics for dickheads but you can complete that list on your own, cause we all have come across them. Especially us women. Now i used to have a lot of faith in our system but that's history. 

Coming back to what happened between yesterday and today, I came across a dickhead I mentioned in the 4th point last night.

Remember that time right after demonetization when bus conductors and shopkeepers refused to take 10 rupee coins in Kolkata? And remember how a bus conductor was killed by the public for this (and also for being obnoxious)? And remember how no one dared to refuse a 10 rupee coin after that? Yeah.. Good times!

I think it is time for such brutality now in this regard, before the best of us 'evolve' into dickheads as well. 

48.65% of our country comprises of females. Which essentially means 652 million people in this country have gotten, get and will inevitably get harassed somehow or the other by dickheads. 

Understandably we either remain mum or rely on our judicial system for this to stop and Maybe get justice in the process. As a result, 17 year old 'juveniles' get released for inserting rods into people's vaginas with sewing machines, and that is just the cherry on the top. 

I think we underestimate the power of the common people here. Enough with laws and lawyers and women's rights and court cases and shit. Law and order is for human beings, not dickheads. And it is going to be a long while before our judicial system recognizes the difference between the two. Dickheads have zero fucks to give on 'petty' ideals of our systems. So the only option I see feasible is to deal with them in our own way. By carrying whatever we need to carry to protect ourselves, to do whatever we need to do to feel safe. Because this country can only claim to protect you with fancy laws that sound great and do jack. 

Let's not just get inspired by movies such as 'Pink' and 'Angry Indian Goddesses' and gazillions of videos and posts that we see and share on facebook and every other social media. Let's take a stand and not just claim to. If we can all do our bit in making ourselves feel 'safe' in this country, that would be way incredible a step than any that our country can promise. 

If not anything, we can at least hope to prevent new 'dickheads' from germinating out of human beings!
