TMI much?
So why is it that we are such a depressed generation? Again, I don't just mean the 18+ category, 'cause let's face it, nobody is/was or ever will be a pro at being an adult. That's not even the point of education, so let's not go there! Poor parents, they spend all their live's savings to get their kids ready for 'life' only to crush them into pieces, one day at time. I mean if we think about it, it's almost like graduating from Hogwarts only to learn that magic is not real in this world.
*ouch*
That hurt, I won't lie {plays Bleed it out in the background}. But you get the point. Bottomline, all the kids are depressed and that pretty much makes the first sentence of this blog irrelevant. We carry so much information in our pockets before we are even ready for it. See, it's easier to sleep in peace when you are not aware of all the shit that's going on outside your house; bliss in ignorance, as they say! But when ignorance is a choice, these sayings quickly turn into "fake news". And no one wants to believe in fake news, right?

Here's an exert from What I Talk About When I Talk ABout Running by Haruki Murakami |
It's a non-fiction by the way, written in 2005. Pretty mundane, right? Here, he just goes on to say what all are the things he has to subsequently do, kind of how the vloggers vlog these days, which really amused me, especially coming from Murakami because...you know, he is Murakami! The master of absurd writing! You just naturally have a tendency to expect anything coming from that human to be bigger than himself. It is kind of funny! While some of us are busy categorising 'oversharing' as a new-wave by-product of social media, we forget why we do it at all. Not just because we want to be heard, but also because we can! No printing agency, nothing! Just that smart-ass thingy on our hands!
I guess what I'm trying to say is, with great power comes great responsibility.
Oh wait, no. That was Uncle Ben.
No, what I meant was:
You do you, boo. How much information is too much information anyway? And of course, we all like to fantasize about a cozy place like đŸ‘‡ on a sunny spring afternoon where we get to talk till sunset about life and everything else in between, but sometimes all we are left with are these loyal black mirrors!

It may sound sad, but it need not.. |
Someday we are going to learn how to deal with this burden of information that we carry with us everywhere.
Until then, live a little :(:
P.S.:- Highly recommend What I Talk About When I Talk About Running by Haruki Murakami to anyone who has ever planned on starting any kind of creative venture. Anything. The man gives it like it is, no BS, without even trying to be "motivational", which I'm really liking tbh. It is brilliant how he seamlessly correlates his running routines to writing. Just cannot recommend it enough.
But that's just me. ToĂ¹i ChĂ¯zzĂ´n!
